OUR MISSION

The Expo is a vehicle for improved public AWARENESS, BUILDING BRIDGES in relationships and COLLABORATING for support and local resourcing. Our philosophy is with these three in practice will help to create thriving Communities. The mission behind the Expo is not only to help boost personal and economic growth, but to reinforce a win-win-win philosophy of shaping our future leaders while empowering the existing.

 

Partnering with local School Districts in planning and implementing the Expo provides required community/intern hours, career development, real-world readiness and networking opportunities for career-seeking students. 

 

In 2015, the third annual Expo in Monroe Woodbury, NY produced 196 vendors and over 1,400 attendees. With support of and partnering with local Chambers of Commerce, County Organizations, including local schools and students, and embracing ALL that comprise community, the Expo creates a total community connection event. With recognition of the successful Expo, and all of the cultivating benefits it provides, Community Connection and Business Expo has expanded to additional School Districts.
